Hi Welcome to The Chicken Coop! Today is very pretty and I love the cool weather :-) I am very excited to blog about these cool books! The first one is called "Chick Days"by: Jenna Woginrich and I really enjoy this book cause it walks you week by week on them growing up and the author is showing us using her own chickens and how they are coming along week by week and it goes all they way till they are laying hens. I really like it :-) so if you are getting chickens I really suggest this book! Here is the picture below: Enjoy!!!
And this one is below is called "Keeping Chickens with Ashley English" and I like this one too because it shows you the different kinds of chickens and wich ones are nice, calm, and docile and wich ones are mean, agressive, and flighty and that is nice cause if you think you want this kind of chicken but you aren't sure what their attitude is you just flipon over to chapter 2 ( I think :-) ) and right there it tells you if it is nice or mean and that right their is nice and it also tells you what to do if your chickens get broody and a lot more things that are similar to that.
